Director Found For Upcoming Animated Garfield Movie

Deadline reports that Mark Dindal (The Emperor’s New Groove, Chicken Little) is set to direct an animated feature film based on the popular Garfield comic strips by Jim Davis. Davis will executive produce. Paul Kaplan and Mark Torgove co-wrote the screenplay. John Cohen and StevenP. Wegner are the producers with Alcon Entertainment’s Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove. Bridget McMeel will also executive produce.
