F. Gary Gray in Talks to Direct Men in Black Reboot

Straight Outta Compton and Fate of the Furious directed F. Gary Gray is in talks to help the Men in Black reboot. Deadline reports that Gray is in negotiations to take on the directorial role in the as-yet-untitled reboot.

The new film won’t have Will Smith or Tommy Lee Jones on screen, but rather will expand on the film franchise’s world. This is not the same as the crossover film with 21 Jump Street titled MIB 23, though that film is still in development. The reboot is written by Matt Holloway & Art Marcum (Iron Man). Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald are back to produce the film alongside executive producer Steven Spielberg.
