Final Trailer Debuts for Ridley Scott’s New Post-Apocalyptic Thriller The Dog Stars

20th Century Studios debuted the final trailer for Ridley Scott’s upcoming post-apocalyptic thriller, The Dog Stars. The new cinematic thriller, based on the novel of the same name by Peter Heller, hits theaters next month. You can check out the new trailer below.
In the new movie, Jacob Elordi portrays the pilot Hig, who, along with a military survivalist, Bangley (Josh Brolin), has created an efficient but isolated homestead in a post-apocalyptic world. However, Hig receives a mysterious radio transmission and ventures into the outside world, searching for the hope and humanity he believes still exist.
The upcoming feature also stars Margaret Qualley, Allison Janney, Benedict Wong, and Guy Pearce. Scott directs from a screenplay by Mark L. Smith, based on Heller’s novel. It’s produced by Scott, Michael Pruss, Smith, and Cliff Roberts. Lily Brooks-Dalton, Brandon Scott Smith, Peter Heller, and Aidan Elliott executive produced the feature.
The Dog Stars opens exclusively in theaters, IMAX, and premium large formats on August 28.
