First Bel-Air Trailer Reveals Peacock’s Dramatic Take on Fresh Prince

The drama remake of iconic ’90s sitcom Fresh Prince of Bel-Air arrives on Peacock next month, and the first trailer shows of the new takes on the characters and tone. Will Smith shared the trailer for Bel-Air on his YouTube channel on Monday, and you can see it below.

Smith wrote:

“3 years ago, my guy Morgan Cooper uploaded his fan trailer to YouTube, showing how he envisioned the Fresh Prince as a drama. Now, here is the first full look at his retelling of the story that’s always been so close to my heart. Cant wait for you guys to see it Feb 13 on @Peacock”

The trailer gives us our first look at Jabari Banks as Will in the series, which follows the events of the original show but with a serious take. We also get our first looks at Uncle Phil (Adrian Holmes), Aunt Viv (Cassandra Freeman), Carlton (Olly Sholotan), Hilary (Coco Jones), and Ashley (Akira Akbar), not to mention Geoffrey Jimmy Akingbola).

Bel-Air arrives on Peacock on February 13th.
