First Return to Silent Hill Teaser Features Pyramid Head, More

The Silent Hill franchise is returning to the big screen with Return to Silent Hill, and the first teaser trailer is now online. Konami released the first teaser trailer for the new horror film based on the hit video game series, and you can check it out below.

The new film is directed by Christophe Gans, who directed the first Silent Hill film, and is a new adaptation of Silent Hill 2. It stars Jeremy Irvine and Hannah Emily Anderson, and is described as follows:

The film will follow James (Jeremy Irvine), a man broken after being separated from his one true love (Hannah Emily Anderson). When a mysterious letter calls him back to Silent Hill in search of her, he finds a once-recognizable town transformed by an unknown evil. As James descends deeper into the darkness, he encounters terrifying figures both familiar and new and begins to question his own sanity as he struggles to make sense of reality and hold on long enough to save his lost love.

No release date has yet been announced for the film.
