Netflix has ousted Frank Langella from its Fall of the House of Usher series following an investigation of misconduct against the actor. Deadline reports that Langella, who was set to play Roderick Usher in the Mike Flanagan series, has been removed from the role which will be recast.

Netflix began an investigation into an accusation that Langella behaved inappropriately on set, with an unacceptable joke made that was sexual in nature per TMZ. Filming will continue this week for scenes that do not involve the character and those scenes already filmed by Langella will be reshot.
