Two of FX’s big upcoming series, American Horror Stories and Y: The Last Man, are moving to Hulu. At Hulu’s NewFronts presentation on Monday (per Variety), it was announced that the two shows will join a host of FX series like Mrs. America and Devs on the streaming platform.

American Horror Stories will be a spinoff of American Horror Story and was officially ordered to series last month. Where Story is an anthology with season-long arcs, Stories will tell a different story every episode with AHS actors reportedly returning for the spinoff. FX has been working on the series since November of 2016 and ordered it to series in April of 2018. It is based on the comic series by Brian K. Vaughn (Runaways, Saga). Set in a post-apocalyptic world wherein a cataclysmic event has killed every male mammal save for one lone human, the series traverses a world of women — exploring gender, race, class, and survival

Disney became the majority shareholder of Hulu after buying Fox, including FX, which was completed last year. FX on Hulu was launched in March and has seen strong engagement, with over half of Hulu subscribers engaging with the content hub. It includes several of FX’s originals including Sons of Anarchy and Wilfred.
