Hulu Reveals First Look at King of the Hill Season 14

King of the Hill returns with an all-new season later this Summer. Hulu dropped a first look at the show’s upcoming long-awaited return, featuring an updated version of the classic opening theme song with some interesting reveals and Easter eggs. Besides the Hills leaving Arlen and the now-adult Bobby Hill, it appears that Dale Gribble is running for mayor.
The new opening and show materials reveals that Hank and Peggy Hill moved out of their longtime home of Arlen, Texas, with Hank and Peggy moving to Saudi Arabia so Hank could work a propane job there to earn a retirement nest egg. The new Season finds Hank and Peggy returning to Arlen to reconnect with their old friends Dale Gribble, Boomhauer, and Bill Dauterive.
Meanwhile, Bobby Hill is now living his dream as a chef in Dallas, Texas, enjoying his 20s with his former classmates Connie, Joseph Gribble, and Chane. Season 14’s cast includes Mike Judge (Hank/Boomhauer), Kathy Najimy (Peggy), Pamela Adlon (Bobby), Johnny Hardwick (Dale), Stephen Root (Bill), Lauren Tom (Minh and Connie Souphanousinphone), and Toby Huss.
Deadline reports that Huss will be taking over as the voice of the late Johnny Hardwick as Dale in Season 14. Hardwick recorded six episodes of the new season before his passing, and he will be credited as a series regular until Huss takes over.
The new season is executive produced by original co-creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, along with executive producer and showrunner Saladin Patterson. Additionally, 3 Arts’ Michael Rotenberg and Howard Klein, and Bandera Entertainment’s Dustin Davis serve as executive producers.
Season 14 will consist of ten episodes. King of the Hill Season 14 debuts on August 4 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+. New episodes will release weekly. All of the original show’s 13 seasons of over 250 episodes are also available to stream on Hulu.
