Jason Momoa In Talks to Join Fast and Furious 10

We can count Jason Momoa as the latest of today’s big action stars to rev up for the Fast & Furious franchise. THR reports that the Aquaman star is in final talks to join the penultimate installment of the main Fast franchise, which has the working title of simply Fast and Furious 10.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the report notes that Momoa could be playing one of the film’s villains. He would join a cast that includes Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and Sung Kang, with Charlize Theron expected to return in her role as the villainous Cipher.

Momoa is the latest big-name star to join the franchise, which has seen everyone from Jason Statham and John Cena to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Helen Mirren appear. The franchise has two more installments in the main franchise planned, with additional spinoffs in the work including a Hobbs & Shaw sequel starring Statham and Johnson and a spinoff centered on Theron’s character.

Fast And Furious 10 is set for a May 19, 2023 release.
