It’s officially award season, which means that it’s time for the 82nd annual Golden Globes. I’m Jeremy Thomas, here as always, and I’ll be providing you with live coverage of the winners list. This year’s awards aim to honor the best of 2025 with One Battle After Another, Sentimental Value, Sinners, Hamnet and more leading the film nominees. Meanwhile, The White Lotus leads the TV nominees with six while Adolescence, Only Murders in the Building, and Severance aren’t too far behind.

The Golden Globes have often been known for having a bit less — shall we say, pristine reputation than several of the Oscars or the various guild awards, and some of its nominees or winners can be a bit eyebrow-raising (hello to The Tourist, Pia Zadora, and last year’s Emilia Perez), but it is the opening salvo for award season and can give us an idea of which films have momentum. Follow along here as we update the list of winners and commiserate with us on the fact that no, The Bear is not a comedy but no awards show seems to acknowledge this.
