Keanu Reeves Weighs In On Potential John Wick 5 Return

Keanu Reeves says he’s up for a potential return as John Wick, but his body disagrees. Reeves spoke with spoke with CBS News for a new interview and was asked about whether he’s interested in revisiting the role for another full entry in the franchise.

“You can never say never,” Reeves said (per Dark Horizons). “My knees right now are saying ‘I can’t do another John Wick.‘ So my heart does but I don’t know if my knees can do it.”

Wick seemingly died at the end of John Wick 4, though Lionsgate confirmed last May that a fifth film is in development. Reeves is reprising the role in the spinoff film The Ballerina, which stars Ana de Armas and releases on June 6th, 2025.
