Legendary Debuts Logo For Detective Pikachu

Legendary Pictures has released the official logo for live-action Detective Pikachu film. You can see the image below. The film stars Ryan Reynolds as the voice of Pikachu along with Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton, Ken Watanabe, Suki Waterhouse, Rita Ora, and Bill Nighy.

The film focuses on Smith’s character, a teenager whose father is kidnapped which leads him to Pikachu and a young journalist (Newton) who team up in order to find him. Rob Letterman is directing from a script he co-wrote with Nicole Perlman.

The film had a May 10th, 2019 release date set, but has since shifted from Universal to Warner Bros. and the release date is not yet certain.
