D23 - Marvel's Moon Knight

I’m going to make this super easy on you and say the biggest and best news out of Disney’s D23 Expo 2019 was the trailer for The World According to Jeff Goldblum.

I could end this right here but out of a sense of fair play (and word count), I’ll throw some more options for second biggest and best news from the Expo.

Like just how impressive Disney+ will be. On top of Disney’s animated movie vault, they’ll have every Pixar and Star Wars movie. We got a heaping helping of information about…

A new Lizzie McGuire sequel series
Phineas and Ferb: Candace Against the Universe
High School Musical: The Musical: The Series
The Toy Story series spin-off, Forky Asks a Question
The Monsters Inc series spin-off, Monsters at Work
Marvel’s What If…? series
Marvels Falcon and the Winter Soldier
Marvel’s WandaVision
Upcoming Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk series
Encore!
Live action Lady and the Tramp
Noelle
Stargirl (Don’t confuse this with DC’s Star Girl)
Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made
Togo
Muppets Now!, which I hope finds its audience!
Diary of a Female President
A new season for Star Wars: The Clone Wars
The Mandalorian, which is looking like it could be a fresh anchor to the Star Wars universe.
And Ewan McGregor is back as Obi Wan Kenobi in a new series.

And that’s just the Disney+! Let’s hit the bullet points for the other big news:

** Marvel’s Kevin Feige announced Black Panther 2 for May 6th, 2022
** Kit Harington will be playing The Black Knight in Marvel’s Eternals
** We got to see a Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker poster which was…OK. ** Fans were shown some brief scenes that were said to be…good.
** The first look at Emma Stone as Cruella in the 101 Dalmatians prequel movie, which will be opening the door for a whole new world of possibilities.
** If you’ve been waiting for a sequel to 2014’s Maleficent, a look at Angelina Jolie’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil got people excited.
** Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon animated movie is scheduled for Thanksgiving 2020
** Pixar’s Onward looks to keep the good times going
** More details about Frozen 2 dropped.
** And Dwayne Johnson is still at it with Jungle Cruise along with Emily Blunt

So much news to process, Disney looks to be tightening it’s grip on…everything! What caught your attention the most (besides Jeff Goldblum’s new show) and what are you most excited for?
