M. Night Shyamalan’s Old Earns PG-13 Rating From MPAA

M. Night Shyamalan’s latest thriller Old may be violent and disturbing, but it will do so on a PG-13 level. The MPAA has given their rating for the upcoming film, which releases on July 23rd. The film is rated PG-13 for “strong violence, disturbing images, suggestive content, partial nudity and brief strong language.”

The movie is written and directed by Shyamalan based on the graphic novel Sandcastle by Pierre Oscar Lévy and Frederik Peeters. Releasing on July 23rd, it stars Gael García Bernal, Vicky Krieps, Rufus Sewell, Ken Leung, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Abbey Lee, Aaron Pierre, Kathleen Chalfant, Alexa Swinton, Nolan River, Kylie Begley, Embeth Davidtz, Eliza Scanlen, Alex Wolff, Emun Elliott, and Thomasin McKenzie. It’s described as follows:
