Marvel Studios Announces Cast For Fantastic Four, Release Date Changed

In a post on Instagram, Marvel Studios announced the cast for their long-awaited Fantastic Four movie, which also has a new release date. The film is trading places with Thunderbolts and will arrive on July 25, 2025. Thunderbolts, meanwhile, comes out on May 2, 2025.
The cast includes Pedro Pascal (The Last of Us) as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible) as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things) as Johnny Storm/Human Torch and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Bear) as Ben Grimm/The Thing. Richards has already made an appearance in the MCU, as a variant of him, played by John Krasinski, showed up in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
The film will be directed by Matt Shakman (Wandavision) from a script by Jeff Kaplan & Ian Springer, with the most recent draft by Josh Friedman.
