Marvel’s Blade Loses Its Director Again

Marvel’s Blade film is seeking a new director (again), with Yann Demange reportedly exiting the project. THR reports that Demange has left the film, having done so some time ago in an “amicable” exit.

Demange’s exit means that the film is making a change in terms of director for a second time. Bassam Tariq, who was originally set to direct, exited back in October. The film undergone a number of delays, including due to the writer’s strike.

Mahershala Ali is still attached to star in the MCU entry, which the report says Marvel is not trying to rush. Eric Pearson is working on the latest script draft for the movie, which is set to release on November 7th, 2025.
