Masters of the Universe UK Trailer Reveals Brand-New Footage of Prince Adam’s Life on Earth

Sony Pictures Releasing UK dropped the new international trailer today for Masters of the Universe, revealing new footage, showcasing life on Earth for Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine )of Eternia, now going by the name of Adam Glenn [his mother’s maiden name], and working in a soul-sucking corporate HR job.
In the new footage, Adam looks desperate to discover the Power Sword and to find a way back to his home planet of Eternia, which causes concerns for his co-workers, especially Daryl. The trailer also notably features the theme from the classic 1980s animated series, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, produced by Filmation.
The new live-action feature also stars Camila Mendes as Teela, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, James Purefoy as King Randor, Morena Baccarin as The Sorceress, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Fisto, Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena, Kristen Wiig as the voice of “Roboto,” Jared Leto as Skeletor, and Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-at-Arms.
Masters of the Universe Hits Theaters Globally in June
The upcoming feature is directed by Travis Knight from a script by Chris Butler, Aaron Nee & Adam Nee, and Dave Callaham. The story was crafted by the Nees, Alex Litvak, and Michael Finch.
Masters of the Universe will be hitting cinemas internationally on June 3, and bring the Power of Grayskull to theaters in the U.S. on June 5. Here’s an official synopsis:
“In MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, Director Travis Knight brings the legendary franchise back to the big screen in this epic live-action adventure. After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine) back to Eternia where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor (Jared Leto). To save his family and his world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba), and embrace his true destiny as He-Man — the most powerful man in the universe.”
