Ms. Marvel Series Shown Off In Disney+ Day Teaser Reel

Disney+ revealed a host of footage from its upcoming Marvel series in its 2021 Disney+ Day Special Look, including our first look at Ms. Marvel. You can see the teaser footage for the upcoming series below; the full reel is available on Disney+.

The series stars Iman Vellani, Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Matt Lintz, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, and Laurel Marsden. It is written by Bisha K. Ali, who will serve as showrunner, and set to premiere next year. It is described as follows:

Ms. Marvel introduces Kamala Khan—a 16-year-old Pakistani American from Jersey City. An aspiring artist, an avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, she is a huge fan of the Avengers—and one in particular, Captain Marvel. But Kamala has always struggled to find her place in the world—that is, until she gets super powers like the heroes she’s always looked up to.
