New Brightburn Trailer Gives Superman Origin a Horror Spin

What would happen if Superman came to Earth but was a monster rather than a hero? That’s the premise behind Brightburn, the new superhero horror film from producer James Gunn. Sony Pictures has released a new trailer for the film that you can see below, which takes the basics of the iconic Superman origin story and gives them a frightening spin.

The synopsis reads: “What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister?
