New To Shudder In December: Horror’s Greatest Season Two, Joe Bob’s Christmas Carnage, More

Shudder is bringing horror to the holiday season in December with a new season of Horror’s Greatest, a new Joe Bob special and more. The horror streaming service announced what’s coming in December and you can see the list of new and library content coming to the service below, which also includes several of the famous BBC Ghost Stories For Christmas specials, new episodes of The Creep Tapes and Dragula, and more:

* The Creep Tapes
New Episodes Streaming Every Friday Until Season Finale on December 13

From writers and executive producers Mark Duplass and Patrick Brice, The Creep Tapes continues to unravel the mind of a secluded serial killer who lures videographers into his world with the promise of a paid job documenting his life. Unfortunately, as the tape rolls, the killer’s questionable intentions surface with his increasingly odd behavior and the victims will learn they may have made a deadly mistake.

From Severin Films and renowned author, producer, and filmmaker Kier-La Janisse (Woodlands Dark and Days Bewitched: A History of Folk Horror, House of Psychotic Women), comes new series The Haunted Season. Created by Janisse, new episodes of The Haunted Season will arrive on Shudder each December with chilling short form horror tales in the tradition of telling ghost stories for Christmas.

The first, from director Sean Hogan, is To Fire You Come at Last. In rural 17th century England, a group of men gathers to carry a coffin to the graveyard for burial. Much ancient folklore and superstition surround the pathway to the church, and several members of the party are afraid to walk it after dark. The grieving father promises to double their wages if they make the frightening journey.
