New Trailer For Godzilla: King of the Monsters Shows Plenty of Monster Footage
The King of the Monsters will finally return to the big screen. Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures have released a new trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters, featuring plenty of footage of Rodan, King Ghidorah and Mothra. You can check out that new video in the player below.
The upcoming film was written by Dougherty along with Zach Shields. It stars Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Kyle Chandler, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Charles Dance, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Aisha Hinds and Zhang Ziyi. It’s produced by Alexandra Mendes, Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Brian Rogers and Thomas Tull, with Barry H. Waldman, Zach Shields, Yoshimitsu Banno and Kenji Okuhira executive producing the sequel.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters will be released in theaters on May 31, 2019. Here’s an official synopsis for the upcoming sequel:
The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
