OJ Simpson Almost Had A Cameo on The Simpsons

It’s a cameo that seems so obvious it’s a wonder it never happened. In a post on Twitter, The Simpsons producer Al Jean revealed that OJ Simpson was asked to be in an early episode of the show but he turned it down. The episode, “Last Exit to Springfield,” aired on March 11, 1993. 25 years later, FOX aired the special OJ Simpson: The Lost Confession? He was replaced by Dr. Joyce Brothers. Jean wrote:
.@TheSimpsons Ironically OJ simpson airs on fox 25 years to the day after the episode we asked him to be in (pre-murders) and he turned down
