Poster For 28 Years Later Released, Trailer Coming Next Week
The first poster for 28 Years Later is online, with the trailer set to drop next week. Sony Pictures released the poster on Friday for the film, which you can see below.
World of Reel has confirmed that the trailer will arrive next week for the film, which is the next chapter in the 28 Weeks Later franchise. Danny Boyle and Alex Garland are back to direct and write the film, respectively.
Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jack O’Connell, Ralph Fiennes and Erin Kellyman will star in the movie. While plot details are under wraps, Fiennes revealed some of the story in October to IndieWire, saying:
“Britain is 28 years into this terrible plague of infected people who are violent, rabid humans with a few pockets of uninfected communities. And it centers on a young boy who wants to find a doctor to help his dying mother. He leads his mother through this beautiful northern English terrain. But of course, around them hiding in forests and hills and woods are the infected. But he finds a doctor who is a man we might think is going to be weird and odd, but actually is a force for good.”
The film is set to release on June 20th, 2025.
