Dek Fights For His Life In First Predator: Badlands Clip

The action-heavy first clip for Predator: Badlands is online, featuring our titular alien hunter fighting for his life against a monster. IGN debuted the first clip from the upcoming sci-fi action film on Thursday, and you can check it out below.

The clip features Dek (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi), our Predator, in a forest on the alien planet that serves as the setting for the new movie. He sees a pack of plant-like tentacles coming his way and busts out his sword to fight them off and get to safety.

Predator: Badlands is directed by Dan Trachtenberg, who revived the franchise with 2022’s Prey and also directed this year’s animated anthology film Predator: Killer of Killers. Patrick Aison wrote the film based on a story from Trachtenberg and Patrick Aison. The movie stars Schuster-Koloamatangi and Elle Fanning, and is set to release through 20th Century Studios on November 7th.

The synopsis reads:

In the future on a remote planet, a young Predator, outcast from his clan, finds an unlikely ally in Thia and embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary.
