Release Dates Shift For Spider Man 3, Doctor Strange 2, Thor: Love & Thunder, Into the Spider-Verse Sequel

Marvel and Sony have moved some of their films in Spider Man 3, Doctor Strange 2, Thor: Love & Thunder, and Into the Spider-Verse 2. Sony Pictures announced on Friday that the third Spider-Man film will now release on November 5th, 2021 instead of the original July 16th, 2021 date while the Into the Spider-Verse sequel is now set for October 7th, 2022. It was previously set for April 8th of that year.

In addition, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is now set for release on March 25, 2022 instead of November 5th, 2021. Thor: Love & Thunder on the other hand is moving forward a week to February 11th, 2022.

The release date shifts are the latest to come about during the current pandemic. Marvel previously pushed back the releases of Black Widow to November 6th, The Eternals to February 12th, 2021, and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings to May 7th, 2021.
