Ron Perlman and T.I. Join Cast Of Monster Hunter

According to The Hollywood Reporter, both Ron Perlman and T.I. have joined the cast of the video game adaptation Monster Hunter, which stars Milla Jovovich. It will be written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson. Harris will play a sniper named Link while Perlman will play Admiral, the leader of the Hunter’s Crew. The film’s budget is around $60 million and production begins next month in South Africa.

The game follows a group of characters who track and kill monsters, leveling up with weapons and gear. Jovovich will play someone named Artemis. Anderson will also produce with Jeremy Bolt and Robert Kulzer. Screen Gems will release the film and Sony Pictures Releasing International handling distribution in select international territories.
