Ryan Gosling Bonds With His Alien Pal Rocky in Final Trailer for Project Hail Mary

Amazon MGM Studios has released the final trailer for the sci-fi adventure, Project Hail Mary. In the new trailer, school teacher and biologist Ryland Grace (Ryan Gosling) forms a bond with a sentient alien being he nicknames Rocky, as they seek to find a solution to the extinction event that’s destroying their suns.

The story Project Hail Mary follows a teacher named Ryland Grace, who is recruited for a daring mission to save the planet, as an event is sweeping across the universe, that is snuffing out all the stars, and if the problem is not solved, Earth’s sun will go out, and all life on Earth will go extinct. The mission to save the planet is a last-ditch Hail Mary.

The upcoming feature is based on the book of the same name by writer Andy Weir, the writer of The Martian. It’s directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller from a script by Drew Goddard. It will be hitting theaters and IMAX on March 30.

The movie will also be receiving a featured TV spot during the Super Bowl LX game later today on NBC and Peacock.
