Sam Claflin Joins Charlie’s Angels Reboot

Variety reports that Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games) has joined the cast of the upcoming Charlie’s Angels reboot. The film will be directed by Elizabeth Banks from a script she wrote with Jay Bezu, based on an earlier script by Craig Mazin and Semi Chellas. Banks also stars with Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, Ella Balinska, Jonathan Tucker, Luis Gerardo, Patrick Stewart and Djimon Hounsou. Banks will produce with Max Handelman through Brownstone Productions, along with Elizabeth Cantillon and 2.0 Entertainment’s Doug Belgrad. The film will be released on September 27, 2019.
