SDCC: Geoff Johns Scripting Stargirl Series For DC Universe Service

Geoff Johns announced during his panel at San Diego Comic-Con that he is writing a Stargirl series for the DC Universe streaming service. Johns announced that he will write and produce the series through his Mad Ghost Productions banner alongside Greg Berlanti and Berlanti Productions.

Johns said (via CS.net) that the series will see the character “on a mission to bring back the legacy of the Justice Society!”

Stargirl joins Titans, Young Justice: Outsiders, Harley Quinn, Doom Patrol and Swamp Thing as confirmed series for the DC Universe service, which will launch in fall 2018. The servcie can be pre-ordered at DC Universe for a yearly fee of $74.99. Monthly memberships will be available at launch for $7.99 a month.

The service will also offer classic TV series and films, a curated selection of digital comic books, breaking news, an expansive DC-centric encyclopedia, and access to exclusive merchandise.
