The revived X-Men ’97 animated series now has a release window, as shown during a panel at San Diego Comic-Con. Marvel revealed that the series, which was announced in November of last year, will arrive in fall of 2023 on Disney+.

CS.net reports that the series, an extension of the original X-Men: The Animated Series will feature Magneto as the team leader. The panel also showed off some new images that you can see below courtesy of Discussing Film. Magneto is wearing his costume that he wore when he attempted to reform and joined the X-Men in the early days of New Mutants Volume 1 in 1985 during the Secret Wars II era.

It was also announced that Disney+ will reorder the original X-Men: The Animated Series, putting some of the episodes that were out of order in the proper place. X-Men ’97 is being written by Beau DeMayo.
