Sony Delays Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Uncharted, & More
Sony has pushed a few more films out due to the pandemic, delaying the releases of Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Uncharted and more. Deadline reports that the studio has moved Ghostbusters: Afterlife from June to November 11th while Peter Rabbit 2 has moved from April 2nd to Afterlife’s June 11th date.
While WarnerMedia has the potential option to put its films on HBO Max (which it has done with all its 2021 slate) and Disney could potentially do so with Disney+, Sony does not have a streaming service to fall back on. In addition to the above moves, this means that Uncharted is moving from July 16th to February 11th, 2022. Finally, the Cinderella musical starring Camila Cabello will move from next month to July 16th.
The moves come shortly after MGM pushed out No Time To Die from April 2nd to October.
