Stan Lee Passes Away at Age 95

According to TMZ, Stan Lee (real name Stanley Martin Lieber), the legendary writer, editor and publisher of Marvel Comics has passed away at age 95. An ambulance rushed to Lee’s Hollywood Hills home early Monday morning and he was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he finally passed away. Lee suffered several illnesses over the last year or so including a bout of pneumonia and vision issues.

Lee helped start the Marvel branding in 1961 with Jack Kirby with The Fantastic Four, and he also went on to create Spider-Man, Black Panther, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Iron Man, and The Avengers. He’s known by the MCU generation of fans due to his numerous cameos in the Marvel films.
