Supergirl Fights for Truth & Justice in Official Teaser Trailer

The official teaser trailer has arrived for the next big-screen installment of James Gunn’s cinematic DC Universe with Supergirl. The new feature, starring Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, hits theaters in June 2026. You can check out the new trailer below.

In the new feature, when an unexpected and ruthless adversary strikes too close to home, Kara Zor-El, the biological cousin of Clark Kent/Superman, reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion on an epic, interstellar journey of vengeance and justice.

The new trailer also features the return of Krypto, Kara’s dog from Superman, along with a brief glimpse of Jason Momoa portraying the Main Man himself, the alien bounty hunter known as Lobo.

The upcoming feature is directed by Craig Gillespie from a screenplay by Ana Nogueira. It also stars Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, and Emily Beecham. It’s produced by DC Studios heads Peter Safran and James Gunn.

Joining Gillespie behind the camera are director of photography Rob Hardy, production designer Neil Lamont, editor Tatiana S. Riegel, costume designer Anna B. Sheppard, Visual Effects Supervisor Geoffrey Baumann, and composer Ramin Djawadi.

DC’s Supergirl hits theaters and IMAX across North America on June 26, 2026. It will be released internationally starting June 24, 2026, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
