T.I. Not Returning for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

When Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania eventually arrives, it will be short a cast member from the first two films in T.I. THR reports that the rapper/actor, who played Scott Land’s ex-con Dave in the first two movies, will not be returning for the third, as-yet-undated, film.

The news comes as T.I. and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris are facing allegations of sexual abuse, forced ingestion of illegal narcotics, kidnapping, false imprisonment, intimidation, assault and harassment from 11 women. A lawyer issued a statement on Monday asking for a criminal investigation into the couple on charges that they enaged in “sadistic, methodical abuse” in incidents that allegedly happened between 2005 and 2018.

A lawyer for the couple told THR in a statement, “Clifford (T.I.) and Tameka Harris (Tiny) deny in the strongest possible terms these unsubstantiated and baseless allegations. We are confident that if these claims are thoroughly and fairly investigated, no charges will be forthcoming.”

Peyton Reed is back to direct the third film, which will see Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer reprise their roles. Jonathan Majors will play villain Kang the Conqueror and Kathryn Newton will take over the role of Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang.
