The Matrix 4 Cast Back in Berlin To Resume Production

The cast of The Matrix 4 has arrived back in Berlin to resume filming on the upcoming franchise revival. Shots of Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss and Neil Patrick Harris arriving in Germany have come online, as you can see below. All three are starring in the film, with Reeves and Moss reprising their roles as Neo and Trinity while Harris’ role is not yet known.

The film shut down in mid-March due to COVID-19 concerns and had been targeting a mid-July release date as early as last month. The three star in the Lana Wachowski-directed film alongside Jada Pinkett-Smith, Lambert Wilson, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, and Priyanka Chopra.

The film is currently set for an April 1st, 2022 release date.
