The Strangers: Chapter 1 Stakes Out May Premiere

The first chapter of the new The Strangers trilogy will arrive at the start of the summer season. Madelaine Petsch posted to Instagram to announce that the The Strangers: Chapter 1 will arrive on May 17th, 2024.
The film is part of a new trilogy that will kick off with Chapter 1. The first film stars Petsch, Froy Gutierrez and Gabriel Basso and comes from Renny Harlin. The trilogy will be a new standalone story following the premise of the 2008 home invasion film, which starred Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman as a couple whose stay at a vacation home is disrupted by three masked intruders. It is described as follows:
Madelaine Petsch stars as a young woman on a road trip with her fiancé. But when they stop at a remote vacation rental in the woods, they become the prey of a vicious gang of masked strangers who attack without warning or reason, and must use courage and cunning to survive one long, terrifying night.
