At long last, we have the trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home and man, does it reveal a doozy of a plot point. Sony Pictures released the trailer finally after presenting it at CinemaCon on Monday, and you can see it below.

The trailer reveals that after the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) finds himself and those he loves very much in the public crosshairs now that the world knows that he’s Spider-Man. He goes to Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to cast a spell to make the world forget that he is Spider-Man — a plot point that echoes the infamous plot of the Spider-Man: One More Day comic storyline, albeit with significant changes. Strange agrees to cast the spell but Peter makes some mistakes during the casting and it opens up the multiverse. We get shots hinting at the arrivals of Electro (Jamie Foxx) and the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe) before we get a full-on look at the return of Doctor Octopus from the Sam Raimi Spider-Man films, played by Alfred Molina.

The film is set to release on December 17th and stars Holland, Cumberbatch, Foxx, Dafoe, Molina, Zendaya, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Benedict Wong, J. B. Smoove, and Marisa Tomei.
