Thor: Love & Thunder Taps Russell Crowe For Mystery Role

Russell Crowe is headed to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, booking a role in Thor: Love & Thunder. Deadline has confirmed that Crowe is set for a role in the film after photos of him surfaced with the cast in Australia. Details on his role have yet to be revealed other than that it’s a cameo, and the hope had been that he would be a surprise for fans but obviously that’s not the case anymore.

Russell previously was a member of the DCEU played Jor-El in Man of Steel. He joins a cast that includes Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Taika Waititi, and Matt Damon. Waititi is back to write and direct the film, which is set to release on May 6th, 2022.
