Tom Holland Was Misled About His Final Avengers: Endgame Scene (SPOILERS)

The final scene of Avengers: Endgame for most of the cast was a sad one, as the heroes gather to pay tribute to one of their fallen. But Tom Holland thought it was something else. Holland revealed on Jimmy Kimmel that he thought Tony Stark’s funeral scene was actually going to be a wedding.

Holland said on the show (per Uproxx) that he was told the scene was actually a wedding scene, as he is legendarily kept in the dark due to his prediliction of accidentally spoiling films. “This is how bad it is for me,” he said. “I was told it was a wedding. No word of it a lie, I showed up to the wedding… and I was like, ‘Where’s Robert [Downey Jr.]?’ Yeah, sad times… I thought it was a wedding! I was so excited!”

Holland was there as part of the Spider-Man: Far From Home cast promoting that film, which releases on July 5th.
