Spider-Man: No Way Home

We officially know the title of the next Spider-Man movie, as revealed in a new video from star Tom Holland (on purpose this time!). Holland posted a video to his Instagram account announcing that the new film is titled Spider-Man: No Way Home. That follows on the previous two MCU/Sony Spider-Man movie titles, each referencing “home” in their titles with Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home. Marvel has confirmed that this is the official name for the movie.

Holland posted a video with his fellow franchise stars Zendaya and Jacob Batalon joining him as he exits director Jon Watts’ office to tell them that Watts gave him another fake title. Zendaya and Batalon chide Holland for his history of leaks, including his famously leaking the title of Far From Home, and they walk by a whiteboard where the official title is written.

The film is set to star the trio alongside Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange. It has also been reported that Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, Kirsten Dunst, and Emma Stone will be reprising their roles as their Spider-Man-related characters from the Sam Raimi and Marc Webb-directed films, with the belief that the film will tie into the concept of the multiverse. Foxx and Molina’s castings have been confirmed, though the rest remain in the realm of unconfirmed reports at this time. An additional report noted that Charlie Cox, who played Matt Murdock/Daredevil in the Netflix shows, was on set for the film. His casting is also as-yet unconfirmed.

Directed by Watts, the movie is set to release on December 1th.
