UPDATED: Wanda Sykes Quitting Producer Job On Roseanne Following Barr’s Racist Joke

UPDATE: TMZ states that a source close to Sykes says that Barr’s Tweet is “100 percent why she quit” the show.

ORIGINAL: TMZ reports that Wanda Sykes will not be returning as a consulting producer for the eleventh season of Roseanne. Sykes left the job earlier this week, simply stating that she would not return. Producer Whitney Cummings also left earlier this year.

It’s unknown if her departure has anything to do with star Roseanne Barr’s racist joke on Twitter, but she gave her notice an hour later.
