Warwick Davis is none too happy that Disney+ removed the Willow revival series from its offerings. Davis, who plays the titular character, posted to his Twitter account over the weekend to criticize the platform for removing the the 2022 series, which was done earlier this year along with several other series as a cost-cutting measure.
Davis wrote:
“I meet lovely people on a daily basis who are fans of #Willow, who are the reason the @DisneyPlus series was made. Please tell me @WaltDisneyCo, what do I say to these subscribers when they ask why they can’t watch the series any more? #embarrassing”
The series was cancelled in March after one season. It continued the storyline told in the 1988 fantasy action-adventure and starred Davis, Ellie Bamber, Ruby Cruz, Erin Kellyman, Amer Chadha-Patel, and Tony Revolori.
