Hechicero has become the latest wrestler to qualify for the quarterfinals of the ongoing AEW Continental Challenge Cup.
Tonight’s episode of AEW Collision saw Don Callis Family members Brian Cage and Hechicero battle in the first round of the Continental Challenge Cup.
The final stretch of the match saw Brian Cage attempt a Drill Claw after hitting a Superkick on his opponent. However, Hechicero not only managed to escape, but he also hit a Head Scissors Driver for a near fall.
The finish came when Hechicero rolled up Brian in a cradle and pinned him to secure a spot in the quarterfinals.
Hechicero joins Claudio Castagnoli, Orange Cassidy, Eddie Kingston, Jay White, and reigning Continental Champion Jon Moxley in the second round.
