Penta is Mr. Money in the Bank 2026, and he weighed in on his victory and when he may cash in in an interview after the show. The Raw star won the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match in the main event of last night’s PLE. The win secures him a shot at the world title of his choosing at any time in the next year and comes after Penta took Roman Reigns to the limit last month in Mexico City.
Penta stopped by WWE Now’s Money in the Bank recap show and spoke about his victory. He noted that the win is validating for him and teased the notion of cashing the briefcase in, though he said it won’t happen “too soon.” You can see highlights below:
On His Money int the Bank win:
“I’m so proud about me. Because you know, it’s like 20 years I fought for every opportunity in my life. Because nothing was given to me. And this is the proof. You have [to] fight every night, I have to fall many times. But no matter, when you and your mind only have one thing, is [to be] successful. And now, this beautiful briefcase is not just for Penta. This briefcase represents all the people who believe in me. So my family, my daughters. Because everything sacrificed is now inside this briefcase. This briefcase is the best key for Penta to become a World Champion.”
On When He May Cash In:
“But not yet. Not too soon. This is a big surprise, because I was thinking something when I climbed to the top [of] the ladder. This is the real key for I will become World Champion, right? Now I decide when. I decide where, and I decide against who.”
