AEW throws its weight of support behind Rebel.
Earlier this week, Tanea Brooks, i.e., Rebel, revealed on social media that she has been diagnosed with terminal ALS. She expressed her gratitude towards Tony Khan and the company for supporting her during her tough times and requested everyone to pray for her peaceful passing.
During tonight’s episode of Collision, veteran commentator Tony Schiavone sent a heartfelt message to Rebel on behalf of AEW.
He said:
“You probably know by social media that one of our fine athletes has some very serious health problems. She announced it this week on social media. We want Rebel to know you’re a big part of AEW. We are thinking about you right now; we are praying for you that you will pull through this. We got a lot of signs here tonight that say, ‘Rebel, we love you,’ and ‘Pray for Rebel,’ and we certainly do agree with that as well. Rebel, we hope you’ll get better. My dear, we are thinking about you. A wonderful young lady.”
