Backstage Note on CM Punk’s Recent Absence From WWE TV

Where in the world is CM Punk? As previously reported, CM Punk was recently removed from scheduled live events that he was being advertised for, including the European tour. It’s rumored that Punk was taken off those upcoming dates due to “schedule changes.”

Additionally, CM Punk hasn’t appeared on WWE TV since the edition of Monday Night Raw following WrestleMania 42. During the latest edition of Fightful Select Answers Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp addressed a fan question regarding Punk’s whereabouts.

According to Sapp, the word he received from Punk was also that his absence right now is due to “some schedule changes.” It’s unknown why he’s been absent this long since WrestleMania, as he said on Raw that he wasn’t going to take an extended vacation.

Punk was seen in attendance for the Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano MMA fight that streamed on Netflix last weekend.
