CM Punk Attends Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano Fight

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk attended the MVP MMA 1: Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano on Saturday night.

The event, which premiered on Netflix, took place at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

In the main event, Rousey defeated Carano in 17 seconds via submission. You can read more about that HERE.

Punk fought twice in the UFC. After suffering a defeat in September 2016, he returned in June 2018, losing again. However, his second loss was later overturned to a no contest after his opponent, Mike Jackson, failed a drug test.

Punk returned to pro wrestling via AEW in 2021. After being fired from the company following a physical altercation with Jack Perry at All In 2024, the Chicago native returned to WWE after a nine-year gap in November 2023.

He won the World Heavyweight Championship last November and went on to defend it against Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 42 Night Two. Despite a brilliant performance, he failed to retain the title. The veteran has been away from TV since the RAW after WrestleMania.
