Bandido recently reflected on his relationship with PAC and recounted the final conversation they had. PAC of course passed away late last month, the day after AEW All Out. The AEW star’s passing hit the wrestling world hard, and Bandido spoke about his interactions with PAC in an interview with Jim Varsallone.
“Yeah, you know PAC, he always was a very good person with me,” the ROH World Champion said (per Fightful). “I met him in Japan. We spent time together in Dragongate and he was a good person with me.”
He continued, “The day before he passed away, we spent time (together). He gave me a Newcastle shirt. I gave him my home team shirt, which is Santos Laguna’s shirt, and he said, ‘thank you.’ The last thing that I can remember from him is, ‘I love you, brother,’ and I will have that words in my heart forever, forever. So I want to have him with me for as much time as is possible, you know?”
AEW paid tribute to PAC with the episode of AEW Dynamite following his passing, and countless individuals across promotions in the business have spoken about their friendships with him.
