Bandido Reacts After Beating Ricochet To Win Dynamite Diamond Ring

AEW Dynamite on 34th Street proved to be a special night for Bandido, as the ROH World Champion defeated Ricochet to become the first wrestler not named Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) to win the Dynamite Diamond Ring. He has now reacted to his monumental victory on social media.
Bandido and Ricochet finished as the final two competitors in the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale last week in Manchester. The two brought the fight to each other in tonight’s one-on-one match. Ricochet tried to do everything he could, including using his stablemates, to put Bandido away, but the former AEW World Tag Team Champion was not to be denied, as he reversed the National Champion’s Spirit Gun attempt into a crucifix pin to earn a historic victory.
Following his victory, Bandido took to X and wrote:
“I’ve just won the Diamond Ring!!!!! 🥹 Just enjoy the moment❤️!”

Bandido has not just won the Dynamite Diamond Ring, but he has also earned the opportunity to contest for the AEW World Championship at Dynamite: Maximum Carnage on January 14, 2026. Of course, it is yet to be ascertained who will be defending the title against him that night, as current champion Samoa Joe is set to defend his gold against Maxwell Jacob Friedman, Hangman Adam Page, and Swerve Strickland in a four-way match at this weekend’s Worlds End PPV. Needless to say, the person who emerges victorious this weekend will head to Dynamite: Maximum Carnage to face Bandido for the company’s top prize.
