Bandido Reveals His Reaction to Tony Khan Buying ROH

– During a recent interview with Más Lucha, ROH World champion Bandido discussed Tony Khan buying AEW. Below are some highlights (via Fightful):

Bandido on Tony Khan buying ROH: “It’s incredible but it did take me by surprise, admittedly. They always say that change is for the better, so I’m interested to see what is next in this new phase (of Ring of Honor). If I continue, and I would love to continue, I will be thrilled to be there. If not, then I look forward to closing that chapter the best possible manner.”

On if AEW or Tony Khan have reached out to him: “They haven’t reached out to me. We (Bandido & Khan) have not spoken since the 2019 Battle of Los Angeles Tournament, unfortunately.”

Bandido will take on Jonathan Gresham to determine the Undisputed ROH World champion this Friday, April 1 at Supercard of Honor XV. The event will be held at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas.
